Cumbria
Cumbria is a non-metropolitan county in North-West England. The Local Government is Cumbria County Council which was formed in 1974 by the passage of Local Government Act from 1972. Town of Carlisle is Cumbria's Country town. By area covered, Cumbria is the second largest county in England, but also with a lower number of people living per square kilometre. Cumbria County numbers around half a million people making it one of the most sparsely populated counties.
